Good stuff: Nice little "tavern" on site for food and a great deck overlooking the water. The T (Red ) is less than a mile ... away. Free internet/parking. Good if it's your base for visiting Boston as it's less expensive than in the city. Not so good stuff: The room had a nice view but otherwise was dingy and outdated. The bathroom door wouldn't close properly. Beds/sheets below average.

Pretty far away from dowtown. Free parkings nice and the bar area is cool other than that it needs some work. The maids were ... more hospitible than the staff behind the desk.

A Most Pleasant Stay in Quincy, MA
Texas Travelers Aug 14, 2009
Our stay at the Best Western Adams Inn, Quincy, MA was a most pleasant one. The staff was friendly, efficient, and helpful. ... The room we stayed in was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Transportation (free of charge) provided to connect with the transit system into downtown Boston was greatly appreciated and a definite plus. I will stay at this inn during future visits to the Boston Area and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Affordable, but could be better
Chris Jul 24, 2009
I usually stay at Best Western hotels when I travel because they are generally comparable to others and are very affordable. ... I chose this location because of its proximity to the city and how close it is to the subway T line. I reserved and paid for a non-smoking room, but upon arrival was told they didn't have any left and put me in a smoking room. As a non-smoker this is annoying. Needless to say the stale smokey smell latched onto all of our clothing. Continental breakfast was good, but the toaster was too close to everything else. So all hotel guests were crowding around the toaster like a mob ready to beat you if they couldn't shove their bagel in. We opted to sit outside on the restaurant patio for an evening munchy, and we left with 20+ mosquito bites on our ankles. I got so many I actually got an allergic reaction. I like watching planes, but Logan is a busy airport and the hotel is along side the landing pattern. Every 30 seconds a jet was landing. I could see how that could get noisy for some people.

Good Location, Clean Rooms
shyguy3 Jun 27, 2009
My partner and I were vacationing for a couple of days in Boston and didn't want to pay outrageous amounts of money for a ... hotel downtown. Best Western Quincy is still in a good location relative to the city of Boston; It only took us about 10-12 minutes to drive in to the city, and this was in moderately heavy traffic. Maneuvering around the roads near the hotel is kind of confusing at first. If you have a GPS system it will probably come in handy to find the hotel. We didn't really have any major gripes about the hotel itself. The staff the day we checked in were friendly for the most part. We did have a slight problem with our key passes and had to have them reactivated and one of them still didn't work, but it was no biggie. The only other complaint would be that the hallways smelled pretty heavily of smoke. We were most impressed with the cleanliness of our room and also with the continental breakfast. There is also a pool that looks really inviting and clean, but we were not able to use it because the weather was not very nice. Overall we had a great time in Boston. If I were to go back I would definitely consider the Best Western in Quincy.

Quincy itself has some excellent little restaurants, in particular this lovely little Vietnamese restaurant called Pho Hoa. It's walkable if the weather is nice, otherwise it's just a short drive down from the hotel.

Good value and convenience
satisfied Vermonter Apr 22, 2009
Good Value and a very nice place to stay. Very nice continental breakfast. Decent bar/dining. Good location in ... Quincy/Dorchester. Convenient to I93. Bit tricky to get to hotel, but just bear left once you are over the bridge, then you go under the bridge, and then a bit right (avoid on ramp to bridge on left) and it brings you right around to the motel. Had a room with a nice water view.
