The Bermondsey Square Hotel is a few minutes' from the City; in the heart of one of London's most vibrant 'villages'. In the Square itself, there is a boutique cinema and weekly antiques market.
London Bridge Station is a short walk away which means you can be at:
City Airport within 25 minutes
Gatwick Airport within 40 minutes using the Gatwick Express
Canary Wharf within three stops on the Jubilee line
Excel Exhibition Centre as it's only15 minutes away on the Docklands Light Railway

A Great Find!

[...]We got a great room (with a view of the London skyline) for a fraction of the posted website price. However, after ... staying at the Bermondsey Square Hotel, I can say it is worth every penny of even the full price. The staff was delightful, the room was spotless and comfortable, and the food at the in-house restaurant - Alfie's - was fantastic. The hotel even offers free wifi in each room. Warning that it is a bit of a walk from the nearest Underground station (about 5 minutes) but we found the walk, and the neighborhood a nice departure from some of the inner-city hustle and bustle. We spent the first few nights of our visit at the Park Lane Hotel near Piccadilly and found the Bermondsey Square much more our speed and style. Hip, comfortable and truly lovely.

You need to try Alfie's. We ate dinner there the last night and wished we'd eaten every meal there!
