This is an older property hat we had stayed in in 1975. It is well kept and has been recently remodeled. The room was ... comfortable and the breakfast was very good. Everything was very clean and the staff very friendly.

Great price

While we were in Phoenix, we went shopping, attended a kickball game at Peoria Sports Complex, attended a concert at the ... Jobing.Com Arena, and ate at Bill Johnson's Big Apple restaurant. Hotel was really close to everything and was a great price. However, we did see two large bugs in our room, the light in the bathroom flickered constantly while turned on, and the plug ins didn't really work.

Bill Johnson's Big Apple Restaurant was a mile away from the hotel and was full of character. The dinners are very big, so I'd recommend sharing one! And don't forget to try the apple pie, it was delicious.

Drippy tub faucet
Grieving sister Jul 21, 2009
The hotel was good for the price, it was convienently located, quiet and with modern amenities. However, we complained about ... our drippy tub that we couldn't get to stop. They couldn't fix it but did offer us a new room that we declined. My brother's room right next to us had dead moths (10 total) smeared inside the picture frames and that was disgusting. Otherwise, the rooms accomodated our needs.

Rooms were comfy but outside was dirty
Char Jul 19, 2009
We attended graduation, the rooms were nice and cool. Wish they had hot breakfast, the continenetal breakfast wasn't much. ... Bathrooms were too small especially if you have an elderly woman who is using a walker and wheelchair. That part wasn't cool. The staff were friendly. The previous trip i made were much nicer and had hot breakfast. They need to sweep or clean the sidwalks its dirty and dingy. Besides it was 112, hot! outside.

I got what I was hoping for
The wanderer May 10, 2009
I had asked for a late check in and arrived at approximately 2 p.m. I was greeted by a nice lady at the front desk. She was ... warm and friendly. She showed us where the breakfast was served and what hours. She then told us about the pool hours as well as showing us the free popcorn available most of the day. I rented the 2 room suit. it was clean and well organized. the suited included 2 king sized beds, 2 televisions, a microwave, a coffee maker and a small refrigerator. Each room also had its own air conditioner. I hit the sack at 1030 p.m. and had a quiet nights sleep. I did not get a chance to go swimming, but i observed many guests enjoying themselves at the pool. Breakfast was good. there was a very attentive lady making sure that everything was stocked. The hotel also had 2 waffle makers that made my family happy. The breakfast area was small and did get a little crowded (there were only 3 tables inside the room). However, they opened up a side door that held 2 additional tables outside. We checked out at noon. All in all, my wife and I were very happy with the hotel and will probably stay there on future visits to the area.
