The staff was super friendly and accomodated all our needs, we were also upgraded to a north tower room ( the better ones) at ... no charge the location on the strip is great, very close to The Paris, the Bellagio, the Venetian.. also , right now there is a lot of construction on the strip south of this hotel so by staying at ballys we could avoid all that.

Went to gamble for a few days. Hotel was nice and in a good location with easy access to the Monorail. However, the fitness ... center cost $23 a day for guests and you have to make an appointment in advance to use it...rip off! Plus, it had very limited hours. Pool, Monorail access, Fitness Center, and the shops underneath the hotel were a long walk away. Pool was closed...an indoor pool would be nice this time of year for a hotel this size.

The stretch between Harrah's and Bally's was full of partiers and gamblers if you want to partake in the local street party. Also, just up the street at Planet Hollywood mall there was a lot to do outside. Fun atmosphere.

I had a really good time at Bally's The only two complaints I could have were: 1)The bathtub was small. At 5'6", 205 lbs, ... I filled the tub with little room to spare 2)The seemingly long walk to get to my hotel room. I had to walk to the very bottom of the casino, into the corner to get up to my tower. But the view was great from my room, and I will definitely try to get this room or a comparable room again at Bally's

THE HOTEL IS AN ESTABLISHED HOTEL. WE TOOK ADVANTAGE OF AN UPGRADE OFFERED TO US AT THE HOTEL AND WERE VERY GLAD WE DID. ... THE HOTEL IS A BETTER ATMOSPHERE FOR THE 50 AND ABOVE CROWD. IT DOES NOT HAVE THE GLITZ THAT THE OTHER HOTELS DO, BUT IT IS A GREAT LOCATION, PRICE AND FRIENDLY AND CLEAN.

We prefer disposable cups in the bathroom in lieu of a glass. Carpet had some stains. check-in was confusing as we waited in ... the wrong line to check in. There were no signs designating convention check-in people vs regular guests. Perfect location on the strip. We could see some of the Bellagio fountain show from our room. Being on the corner was great because you could walk above the traffic to cross Las Vegas Blvd or Flamingo Ave.. Overall good place to stay for the money.

If you want scenic views of the strip do the eiffle tower and for mountain views Red Rock Canyon is less than 30 minutes away and we liked it as much as the grand canyon. The South Rim tour of the grand canyon was a very, very long day for about 2 hrs of impressive views at the canyon. It was a once in a lifetime event for us.
