Stay at Your Own Risk
Jeffrey Mar 19, 2008
The Avalon Excalibur was the worst hotel that I have ever stayed in. I have been to Mexico 5 times and this was the first ... time where I was at a hotel where not one member of the staff spoke a word of English. Our room was not cleaned at all during are entire stay. The Concierge was very unhelpful and rude. The beach amnitities were very poor, there were never enough lounge chairs on the pool or on the beach, and the hotel security was lackluster. Beach Vendors were allowed to come up to you as you lounged on hotel property and harrassed you every five minutes. the Food and drinks at the hotel were inedible and highly over priced. If you want to have a miserable time in Acapulco stay at this hotel, if not their are much better options available.

My review of Avalon Excalibur Acapulco
brenda May 24, 2007
Overall its a good hotel but it does need a remodelation. the elevators are a pain, its better to get the first levels and ... get the stairs. it does has a pool but its a small one. its the first hotel build in the costera so its kind of far away from all the clubs. the staff people are very friendly and will help with any kind of questions or problems. like around 80% of the people staying are families so there are lots of kids.
