Great experience at a first class resort

My husband and I stayed at Austria Haus for a week at the end of August and loved the visit. The concierges were incredibly ... helpful, the rooms were lovely and kept incredibly clean, and breakfast was delicious, especially the waffles! The mattress, moreover, was insanely comfortable. The hotel itself doesn't have a kitchen, but the location was so great that we could walk to any number of restaurants, as well as numerous hiking trails. We would definitely stay here again!

The hotel is centrally located making it easy to get around Vail. The staff was very accomodating and friendly - giving ... great recommendations for dinner and site-seeing. We would definitely come back.

The hotel will give you a list of off season deals for dining in the area. The food is expensive. You will have a fridge in your room... I also suggest going to Wal-Mart in Eagle to get some snacks.

Very nice

Great location...the hotel felt like home. We went to Vail to get married and we were very happy with our choice of hotel. ... The first 2 days we were there were very busy with the Teva Mountain Games, but it was a great time because the hotel was right in the middle of the action!! Then the rest of the week was very quiet and much appreciated... we got to see the village without the crowds and never had to wait for a table. The staff at Austria Haus was very friendly, the breakfast was yummy, the pool is small but it was never full and we didn't bring kids so it worked for us. Our room was nice and had a fireplace and a heated bathroom floor! All in all a nice stay and we will be back! My only complaint is that we had a long wait at check in because the reservation was never confirmed with Cheap Tickets so the hotel didn't know we were coming...but they eventually figured it out and they did have a room for us. I suggest calling ahead to check your reservation... just to be sure everything runs smoothly.

We had a great stay as this hotel is very clean and had great service. The breakfast selection was a little limited but it ... is free and tasty none the less. The location is spectacular and it has a very cozy feel to it.
