Few blocks from the hotel you will find the great Cesar Palace Casino and shopping malls, also many places to eat.

Even though the hotel is happy to take you to the monorail stations, you might want to take a cab back to the hotel as it is about a half mile walk from Bally's and they are not really set up to come and get you to bring you back.

BED BUGS/SPIDERS IN SOFA SLEEPER
Scott Feb 28, 2008
I slept in the pull out sofa bed and woke up with large bites on my arms and the side of my torso. The bites swelled into ... hives and itched quite extensively. My only conclusion was the bed had to have been a nest for some sort of bug. Aweful! We checked out and stayed at the Wynn, definately no bugs there.

Good hotel away from the LV strip
Michael Sep 12, 2007
This was a nice comfortable hotel just off the LV strip. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a shuttle that ... will take you to the big casions close by where you cna catch the monorail for transportation further afield. Even though you are near the airport, and while I was there the Hard Rock hotel and casino which is next door held an outdoor event, it is very quiet inside and I never heard any noise. There are numerous cafes, reataurants, and casinos within easy walking distance. I found this property to be a great value.

My review of Atrium Suites
Arthemise Sep 9, 2007
Atrium Suites is just a short trip from the main strip and quiet. But, the amenities were minimal, and the staff was barely ... friendly. The main bed was huge and comfortable, but the the pull out was a complete wreck. It took a few calls to get maint. up to check on the TV which only needed resetting. It was very disappointing to have a suite w/ a fridge, but no access to a microwave! If I find something comparable or even have to pay a few more dollars, I would not repeat my stay. I wont' be recommending the suites to anyone else. Last, but not least, smokers were allowed to smoke in the hallways outside the rooms and the smoke migrated to some of the rooms, which was very annoying.

The strip is a short bus trip(going West) up Flamingo Road for 1.25 or maybe a long walk. The long walk is not suggested unless you start in the early if its cool.

Clean and Comfortable
J Margaret Sep 3, 2007
It is 1 Mile from the strip and a great location. Free shuttle to/from the airport. Free shuttle to the strip. From the ... strip, take the 202 bus on flamingo for $1.25 and it lets you off across the street from the hotel at terribles casino. You don't really need a taxi. Room was nice, clean and nothing like what I expected from reading other reviews. It was 100% than those reviews. Restaurant and bar are rarely open but thats because most people are at teh Casino's. We would definitely stay here again.

Raul Aug 13, 2007
The Atrium Hotel Suites is nice but it seems to need a little maintenance. The bathtub has some rust on the sides and the TV ... signal was not clear. In the other hand, it is really close to the strip, people are very friendly and you have the Hard Rock Cafe Casino right there. I will recommend this hotel in the future. All in all it serves its purpose.

Good experience off the Las Vegas strip!
NIa Jul 17, 2007
The Atrium Suites Hotel is about a mile from the Las Vegas Strip. For what seems to be a smaller hotel, it does carry the ... amenity of a shuttle service to the strip. Check-in was very easy. My room was the basic king-size suite (outside sitting room with a full-size sofa sleeper, and separate doors to the bathroom). One drawback: there wasn't a microwave. I had no problems with the air conditioning, as I could adjust the degree of coolness. The vents were more than adequate in cooling the bedroom and sitting room at the same time. I took one meal in the hotel restaurant (The California Grill). It was more than enjoyable and reasonably priced. I recommend that renting a car because the closet stores are at least a mile away, and in the hot summer temperatures, frozen items will quickly melt if you try and walk. Overall, it was a good stay for my budget. I'll certainly book my next Vegas trip to include the Atrium Suites.

One mile from the Las Vegas Strip. It's a long walk (if the sun is high and the temperatures in the triple digits) or a short drive. Keep in mind: cab rides from the strip to the Atrium Suites will run you about $9.00.

Good Service
Angel Jul 9, 2007
Atrium Hotel had good service. The room size was acceptable for my wife and I. Very comfortable surrounding. The bathroom ... was clean and well maintained. The bed was very comfortable. We slept like a baby. The only negative was that even though the room was designated non-smoking, it seems to smell like cigarette when you first enter the room. Also the A/C was loud during the early morning. Probably due to the heat wave during our stay. The event (UNLV) that we've planned to go to was nearby the hotel. Other than that, we were happy.

Annmarie May 27, 2007
The Atrium Suites worked out perfectly for our stay. We ended up staying for 5 nights. The food at the restaurant was great ... but the service was a little slow. The rooms were nice but somewhat outdated, the A/C worked but was either too cold or too hot nothing in between. The staff was great, very friendly and very accomadating!!!!

Exactly what we expected.
Kenneth Apr 12, 2007
The Atrium Suites was cheap, clean hotel off the strip. While it was further off the strip than expected, they had ... convenient free shuttle to MGM, Bally's, and one other casino. We used this twice, and the drivers were great at dropping us so we could get quick access to where we were going. Also, staff worked with us to get an extension to our checkout, which really made for a better day for us. They tried to be as helpful as possible. Beds were comfy, plenty of room, and we liked the shared bathroom with doors off bedroom and living space. Perfect for a Vegas 2 day trip on a budget. I'll be coming back here so I can spend my $$ on other things!
