We have just returned from the Anderson Ocean Club on Oct.31st and had a fantastic time! Everything was PERFECT. What a ... beautiful place to stay inside and out just absolutely spectaular! [...] and [...] at the front desk were amazing. Anything you wanted to know they were extremely helpful. If you needed anything you forget or needed they would bring to your room. Thank you again [...] and [...] for all of your help and suggestions. The room we stayed in had 2 baths, 2 bedrooms a regular size dining table, an unbelievable kitchen and living room and the washer and dryer were such a plus. The patio was unbelievable we have NEVER seen anything like the size of this patio all I can say is WOW! We had oceanfront/oceanview. What more could anyone ask for? You have to stay here the price was fantastic and it truly was the BEST place you could ever stay. Would stay again in a heartbeat. We can't wait to go back. Lori and Paul from Attleboro.

This was such an enjoyable long weekend. I couldn't have asked for more. The rooms were beautiful, and clean. The staff was ... always there if you needed anything. We stayed in the room with the King bed and kitchen, and washer and dryer. The decorating was impressive as was our view! The valet parking was a real plus and they always had your car waiting when you got downstairs. Front desk staff was very professional. I am looking forward to returning and trying the spa.

I am 69 and travel extensively. Never have I ented a hotel and been this surprised. The rooms were the most impressive of ... any hotel I have stayed and this includes foreign travel. Superior furniture, Superior kitchen layout, heavy furniture that one would love in their own home, beds that are soooo comfortable, carpets spotless and a staff that goes the extra mile to please thier guests. Anyone making a booking and misses the Anderson ocean club and spa at Myrtle Beach, SC are the real losers. Oh, the prices are very, very competive compared to other hotels on Ocean Blvd. Thanks all. I will be back soon. Thomas E. Farmer

What a wonderful hotel/condo. Right on the beach, fantastic views, and all of the amenities of home-full kitchen and washer ... and dryer. Pack light, as you can do laundry while watching the sunrise. Close to all the fun-Broadway at the Beach, and all that is on Rte 17 and 501, as well as the airport. Cannot wait to return!

Great Value & Well Appointed
Dave, Habitual Business Traveler Oct 1, 2009
I've stayed at the hotel previously and the quality of the rooms, location and view can hardly be matched by any other in ... Myrtle Beach. I am a frequent traveler so found my arrival and the process less than desirable. They have valet, which I use to park since the garage is a short distance from the hotel. The valet staff didn't open the door, greet or even acknowledge me or offer assistance or directions to the desk. Completely oblivious to me, although they were less than 3 feet from me as I got out of the vehicle and were standing idle talking to each other. I found the process of having to check in, completing and carry my parking permit, keys, and tags, back out a little annoying, as in all other hotels this is part of the job the valet takes care of, making sure the fee is added if necessary to the room. I think this has to do with that part of Anderson Ocean club is owned by individual owners, but nonetheless not very welcoming and adds a delay to getting to a room after a long day of traveling. That being said I mentioned this concern to the front desk and they were very attentive and even offered an upgraded room. As I plan on staying there again, I would find it even more pleasing just to see the process change. The rooms are excellent for short trips, long trips of business or pleasure. Excellent location with wonderful ocean view and ocean front rooms. Fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, cleaning service, and many other amenities are included and very few corners were cut. This is not your usual Myrtle Beach on the water rooms, as they are newer with granite and marble counter tops, well decorated, flat screen televisions along with the convenience of a full-service spa in the building.

The hotel comes with complete kitchen including dishwasher, stove and all cooking utensils that is in a typical kitchen. We found that it was best to walk to the nearest grocery store (appx 15 minute walk south on N.Kings HWY-"Piggly Wiggly") and prepare our own food. It was significantly cheaper and more intimate to enjoy our food while relaxing on the balcony enjoying the ocean view with a bottle of wine.
