It's a small town, but that's no excuse

I'm on my journey to Tulsa. This is the place I end up at after driving 450 miles from the Palm Springs area. They get one ... star because I can type this review using their free Internet service. I haven't stayed in a place like this since, well, never. I check in and get the key. I ask, "where can I get some dinner and sit at the bar?" I am told Mesa Grill about two miles up the road. I ask, "is that it?" The guy says to me, " we're a small town, not many people like that sort of thing." I don't even know what to say, except, "okay." The carpet appears new, but there is stuff all over it like it hasn't been vacuumed. Who cares, I'm going to the bar he told me people don't go to 'round here. The room is like $40, so I should just shut up. Like he says, it's a backwards ([*]) Navajo trailer park town. Okay, he didn't say that, I did. I didn't deserve this...

Very outdated. Breakfast-white toast and sweet roll. openings under door where I was waiting for something to enter!! Close ... to Canyon de Chelly and Petrified Forest. Cheap price-got what you paid for.
