the location wasnt great. the parking space wasnt big enough. no toiletry in restrooms. very noisy!!! i was a tired guest ... wanting to sleep for a busy morning ahead of me, i was too tired to call, TOO tired to move...after a days work and a 2HOURS DRIVE! parties going on next door and the rooms next to them. in the morning wake late cuz i had a seemingly rough night & come to find out the partiers from late night had vomit off the top floor onto my vehicle!!! GROSS!!! someone actually had the nerve to clean some of it off and told me as i was exiting! i was very disappointed in the whole experience! i really DO NOT recommend this spot to anyone after what i had to go through!!! i talked to the front desk the morning before leaving and he acted like he didnt care at all!!! HOW SAD it was for me & i could have said more but just left an unhappy camper!

The hotel is not as bad as I thought because I went to the hotel knowing it was going to be really bad. I didnt really trust ... any of the sheets or towels, but I got what I paid for. If your going to stay at a cheap hotel then the hotel and services are most likely going to be bad.

Unacceptable Conditions
Marine Infantry Sergeant Jun 29, 2009
Prior to arrival, I placed a call to ensure that they had my name on the reservation roster. After being put on hold for ... approximately 4-7 minutes, the clerk had a very hard time understanding what I was simply requesting to know. I was placed on hold for an additional few minutes, while a clerk who was able to speak English was located. I then found out that I was on their reservation roster. Upon arrival, the hotel appeared to be more of an apartment complex. There were many items on each of the deck's porches/balconies (bikes, rugs, grills etc.) Still not deterred, I proceeded into the main office, which certainly had more of an appearance of living quarters, rather than a travel inn office/lobby. Floors were not tidy, the counter had bits of food and liquid on it. But, still, I attempted to check in. Shortly after, a man appeared from behind the counter, who was unfamiliar with paperwork and/or computers. Also, he had a very hard to understand accent, which made a barrier between the two of us.He became frustrated, and then was assisted by a young man, who seemed put out, by having been summoned. After checking in, I proceeded to the room with my wife. The both of us were uncomfortable as we had to trek through obstacles on the balcony and stairwell. Once we made it to the room, it took only a short time to determine that this inn was not a value at all, nor was it American. We proceeded to the office where I made it known that we would not be staying at their motel. No refund was given, no offer to make the room better, no voucher of any sort. In fact, the response was "You won't find another place in town." As a newlywed United States Marine, I am appalled to have had my wife and I treated as such. I've been greeted better in AFGHANISTAN. Not kidding. Thanks for your time.

Don't even bother!
unsatisfied customer Jun 9, 2009
We drove up to the hotel and there were 3 gangster looking men on the upstairs balcony. The hotel was really close to the ... highway. Just didn't feel safe there at all. We never even checked in to see what the rooms looked like. I guess low price isn't the best reason to book a room on the internet.

Horrible Horrible
Pamela May 29, 2009
There was only one light--two fixtures had no bulbs, there was no electrical plug in in the bathroom--we had to sit on the ... bed to shave or dry hair, the room was so small the refrigerator door would only open one quarter way, there was NO space, the advertised internet was dial up--not wi-fi or high speed internet--for that you had to pay more, the bedspread was a double bed size for a king size bed, the pool was not filled and had mattress storage around it, the pop machine took my money

Worst Place to live. Lousy Owners, Lousy and Uncourteous Staff, Worst hotel
Sanjay Aug 27, 2008
This is the worst hotel. Do not ever step in even by mistake. Extremely uncourteous asian owners. The rooms stink, very ... unclean and unhygenic. There were no bathroom tissues, unclean linen, unclean refrigerator, and toilets, unusable spoiled air conditioner, room doors dont lock properly (thus very unsafe to leave stuff), lots of neighbourhood noise, no internet, no pool, and very unsafe parking. Just stay away ever if you are offered to live for free.

In a crunch
Pilar Aug 10, 2008
The America's Best Value Inn in Flagstaff AZ. is probably okm if your are in a crunch and need a place to sleep for a ... couple of hours. The room we were given had dirty bedsheets, extremely filthy pillows( the pillow covers were clean) The complimentary breakfast was a toaster with some bread and coffee which by the way was picked up by 9:30 a.m. It is a old inn and the rooms were tidy except for the dirty linen but I guess thats what I ge for going with the cheapest rate.

richard Mar 14, 2008
On old hiway 66 this hotel has not been updated since the 50's, light were out or missing and the phone didn't work in the ... room, they did switch rooms for me. There is a $10 cash deposit for the key to the room and the remote. No pool, closed for renovations, the sign said. If you want the maid to clean the room you have to let them know; otherwise it doesn't get done.

We were a little surprised at how small the room was, but if all you need is to have a place to sleep and don't expect to ... spend alot of time there it's fine, I will say though the cooling system was quiter then some of the nicer hotels we've stayed in. They just installed new tv's which was nice. I think there trying to upgrade and the location is great to beable to walk to great dining and shopping. The young man at the front desk was a sweetheat and did a great job.
