Great location but small room!

The 562 Nogaro is located at a few steps from Plaza de Mayo and the Casa Rosada, which are two of the main tourist ... attractions of Buenos Aires. It is a couple of blocks away from Florida Street (pedestrian shopping street) and where you can take the City Tour Bus. It has a Subway station just a few steps away and its amenities are great... It has been recently renovated and really cool decorations. The only thing I did not like were the TINY LITTLE SMALL ROOMS!!! Never have stayed at a hotel with such a small room (the twin bed barely fit in the room)... But since I was travelling alone and spent most of my day outside walking around, that was not an issue for me. The staff was also very helpful!

We had to book a hotel for a one night lay-over. It was affordable, in a convenient location (near three Subte lines) and ... had a buffet breakfast. We would prefer a quieter location with an updated bathtub. When taking a shower it felt like we were going to fall through the bathtub floor.

This was my first stay at 562 Nogaro and I would definitly go back. The location is great. We were about 10 minutes from the ... local airport and walking distance to many restaurants and shopping.

We were just 2 blocks from Florida Avenue, a walking street of shop after shop - must have been at least a mile. But, we found the best and highest quality stores at Galerias Pacifico, a short taxi cab away. The leather stores have products that were absolutely beautiful - the very good leather is soft as butter.

Great location but small room!

This Hotel was comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly and very helpful. This hotel is in a perfect location near major ... sights and subway lines. Plaza De Mayo is a short walk. Subway stop in the same block as the hotel. Shopping on Florida Street is a short walk as well. I will stay at this Hotel next time I travel to Buenos Aires.

The hotel is located a block away from the Casa Rosada and the Cathedral, where all the subway lines converge. This is also ... where most of the demonstrations end up, so that I witnessed some mass action every day I was in Argentina. I was originally given a room that had a bed and not much more; Id had to ask for a change. The lobby is minimalist in decor. The breakfast is a good variety of local, American and continental choices. On my second night, I arrived late only to find out that not a single towel had been left by housekeeping for the night.

Small personal hotel

We were fortunate to have a room (#517) that had a small foyer entry--bedroom to the left and bath to the right. The bedroom ... had a strong door that closed out the foyer and bath, which also kept the hall noise (very little) to a minimum. Room was small (2 twin beds), closet adequate with hanging and shelf space. Had a balcony which was great for the weather in April--however, at night, large mosquitos were happy to fly in, so had to keep the doors closed when dark. Breakfast (included in room rate) was more than adequate - both hot (even eggs to your order) and cold items - a large buffet. Maid was super - desk staff satisfactory. THE BUENOS AIRES CITIZENS WERE GREAT - POLITE, CLEAN,FRIENDLY AND VERY HELPFUL. MY HUSBAND & I WANT TO GO BACK IN 6 MOS. OR SO. However, we are both 65, so it remains to be seen!!!!!
