The room's decor was interesting... the bed was pretty comfortable. Not much closet/hanging space for clothing. When we ... arrived at about 10:30 pm on our first night, our television was not receiving much reception... we could see maybe one or two channels. I called the front desk and the girl I spoke to said nothing could be done, the maintentence staff had already gone home for the night. She said she would put in a "work order" for the next afternoon... The next day no one ever showed up to fix the tv. Nor did anyone come to clean our room... when I asked the front desk about this, she said housekeeping had already gone home for the day... Hmmm... I was slightly frustrated at that point. Finally, on our third day, our room was cleaned and the tv reception was fixed. Also, our room was somewhat difficult to get to. There are only stairs on one side of the building, so if you are on the side of the building facing the park, plan on a bit of a trek to get to your room... One positive thing about 3 Palms is the Avalon restaurant. It's definitely got a cool vibe.. worth checkin out!!

Great stay
Mokasmom Oct 24, 2009
I stayed at the 3 Palms while on a scouting visit to Phoenix to prepare for a move to the area. The location is close to the ... airport - I flew in at night and it took about 15-20 min to get there. I was looking at apartments in Mesa and Chandler, and it was convenient to both of those locations, also. I was given an upgrade upon arrival, so my suite consisted of one room with a living area with a couch and entertainment center, a computer desk and a bath and vanity area, and another room with a two-person jacuzzi (which I utilized every day!), another bathroom and entertainment center, and a king-sized bed. The room contained all the amenities such as hair dryer, mini-fridge and microwave, and was very clean and comfortable. I didn't use any of the other hotel amenities, so I can't comment on the pool or restaurant, etc. I only interacted with the staff upon arrival and departure, but they were friendly and efficient. The housekeeping staff did a great job, even perching my Build-A-Bear in the middle of the newly made bed every day (like Disney staff does.) It was a nice personal touch. I am hoping to move to the area, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family who come to visit.

Great location and price
Patrice Sep 17, 2009
The room was great for the price although I was very nervous when booking. The hotel must have been an apartment complex ... previously but the upgrades were nice and contemporary. I only have two complaints: there were roaches in the bathtub everyday which is nasty and creepy and I needed a late check out and after being told I could get one until 3pm they decided to attempt to charge me for half of a day. Overall the location is great.

Service has been consistently good on several visits to this hotel. To call it a "resort" is stretching it a bit, but it is a ... very comfortable place to stay. There is quick highway access without being right by any highway. A restaurant is adjacent to the property and many others are only a short drive away. I have always been able to find any service I need within a 10 minute drive.

The hotel was alright. Great value for the money. The pool was the best part and the awesome restaurant next door! Otherwise ... it was too small for 3 people. My husband was on business and my daughter and I came to visit him. They had a crib for her which was nice, and a fridge and microwave which was very nice, but overall the rooms were just too small. If you can get past that it is an amazing deal and everything has been updated. Granite everywhere and the beds were very comfortable. Would be nice for one person but not great for families.

This hotel was very noisy - almost like the walls were thin. You could hear everything your neighbor was doing which was ... quite annoying. The rooms itself were small, although they were remodeled. The remodeling really wasn't up to par, but the furniture was nice. This is a definitely a quick stay hotel.

Sarah Jul 19, 2009
We stayed here because we had to attend a funeral in Phoenix. The hotel is right next to the 101 so you can get around town ... efficiently. The worst part was the walls. They seem very thin because every morning we were woken by neighbors or maids. We could hear when they dropped something or if they were in the bathroom even. It was annoying. The room was great. Super comfy beds and feather comforters. The coffee in the room was terrible though and they hardly give Any sugar. The room has a fridge and a microwave so everything you need to make a fast meal. We loved the bathroom because it is all granite and very chic. All in all I would like to stay Here again but I will bring ear plugs next time

The orbitz deal was good. The hotel was clean. I wouldnt say spotless. The pool and jacuzi were great. The room was pratty ... nice. The bed was better than most at other places I have stayed. The main problems were You had to walk to the front office and sign out pool towels, that was kind of a pain, we were way on the other side of the building and it was 110 degrees. It was diffacult to adjust the showers water temp, finaly found were the hot water was on the second day. Bathroom was not well lite.
