Broadway at the Beach is a nice shopping area. Hardrock Cafe, Planet Hollywood, Margaritaville were some of the attraction places to eat. Also neat little shops.

This was the slowest check in and check out I have ever had. They did not seem to be happy to help you and mumbled. I had to ask them to repeat what they were saying more than once. It wasn't due to a southern or foreign accent, they just didn't seem to care enough to articulate. Other than the check in and check out the hotel was nice, right on the ocean and nice pools and lazy river.

Will not visit here again

Cheapeake House, since the Gullyfield is gone, had been our favorite...just wasn't up to its usual delicious fare. WE also tried the Jackalope at Barefoot Landing...not impressed. Breakfast was OK at Akels but it was so hot in there on Sunday, our meal was not very enjoyable. Over all, the weekend which was our 35th anniversary was a BUST!

This Best Western was located near the center of Myrlte Beach...much too close to other hotels this size. The beach was EXTREMELY crowded. The lifeguards umbrellas and chairs took up all the convenient area in front and to the sides of the hotel. There seemed to be a maximum number of staff members but our bathroom was not clean along the edge of the floor. YOu can sense when your room just doensn't have that overall clean feeling. Also we were given brand new towels that had never been washed...NO ONE should ever do that...they still had that very unpleasant new smell and feel. The linens on the bed were less than inviting...the raggedy edges of the mattress pad was hanging out and was very unattractive for a tired traveler. Only one outside shower for rinsing sand off...line became quite long, especially with parents allowing their children to just play and others were waiting. I will say one positive was a young lady at the desk. She was truly a breath of fresh air along with being very cordial and helpful. Better think about keeping her!

Liberty at broadway at the beach dont miss the happy hour from 4-7 pm

WE had a great view in our room at The Best Western Carolinian. Plenty of parking across the street in the parking garage. Short drive to broadway at the beach and The Pavillion, very convenient location.

There are shops several blocks to the south on the same beachfront street, along with amusement rides. There is also a shopping and entertainment area (Broadway on the Beach) less than a mile away.

The Room and Hotel were very nice. We actually had a 1 bedroom condo, complete with living, dining, and kitchen. There was no wireless internet, and there was no complimentary breakfast (has not been for 3 years). The one night stay was deeply discounted. I inquired about a second night, and the cost for the second night would have been almost double my one night stay.

Enjoyed some great Myrtle Beach Pelicans baseball games.

The one bedroom suite was very spacious. Great views. Washer and dryer in room helped out a lot. Good sized kitchen. Friendly staff. Had a very enjoyable stay.

Go to Broadway At the Beach!!!!!

Go in May before prices get hiked up in June. Don't stay on a friday or saturday as prices are higher. Go to Broadway At The Beach at least one night- great place for dining, shopping, attractions, etc.
