Good value for your money

Rudolf, Los Angeles, CA

Renovation is almost over. Rooms have seemingly been improved. Very close to San Diego. Plenty of shops and eateries in Chula Vista itself. Unlike other hotels/motels you pay per room and not per person.

It was a good place for our purpose. We needed a hotel for a night in the San Diego area. this hotel served our purpose but I would not want to spend a week there. I would not use this hotel for a vacation.

Not a good location

Anonymous, 2007-03-10

The Good Night Inn wasn't in the best location and they were doing construction on the lobby which made the place look worse than it probably is. It is terribly noisy and some of the guests were blasting music at 7:30 in the morning. They had a delivery menu, which I tried to use; however, when I called to place an order the delivery service said that they no longer delivered to that area. So why leave the menu in the hotel rooms if they don't deliver??? There aren't very good restaurants near by, but San Diego is close if you want to venture out. It was an alright experience, and I wouldn't recommend it to my friends.

Shopping, Sea World, Zoo. If you are driving it is a very good location.

If you are driving, it is a good location, close to restaurants and shopping area. Easy to get anywhere fairly quickly.

Nice Room, Questionable Parking & Help

Mark, Oakland, CA, 2007-02-12

Old Ships docked downtown were fun.

Before booking the room I had read a prior review of this hotel complaining about shortage of parking. As I arrived mid-aftenoon, there was no problem but I did realize there are 2 areas for parking, the inside lot(surrounded by building and enclosed pool) and an outer perimeter. Upon return from the day's sightseeing and dining I returned to the hotel to find the inside lot filled and I had to park on the far side of the property from our room. On the second day I wanted to find a large electronics store I had heard was in the area. When I asked at the desk about it I was given minimal, hurried directions. It appeared the man was counting money and uncomfortable with my distracting them. I didn't find the store until 2 days later, on my way home, quite visible from the freeway, had I been given very simple directions there. The room was nice and clean though.

My review of Good Nite Inn Chula Vista - San Diego South Bay

James, Sacramento, CA, 2006-09-28

Anothony's Fish Grotto right next door and on the other side is El Torrito and 1/2 block from the Trolley which will take you all over San Diego.

The Good Nite Inn Chula Vista is a nice hotel with easy freeway access to get any where around San Diego. There are plenty of near by restaurants. A good Value for the money.

Trolley was located only a couple of blocks away which was convenient to take to several places. Has a beautiful park with beach within only a couple of miles away

hotel cleanliness and updates have alot to be desired but was located in a very convenient location.
