Getting Around Dublin
As in most European countries, Dublin offers extensive public transportation options. It's a short 10 miles from Dublin Airport to the city, and bus and shuttle services are cheap and affordable. Metered taxis are also available at the airport and will cost about €20 to €30 to the city center. The city of Dublin is served by a tram and light rail system called Luas, and many find the cheap one-way fares a good bargain. The DART rail system connects the city to the surrounding suburbs. The city center can also be easily navigated on foot, with most attractions within walking distances. Bicycle rentals are popular too.
