San Francisco to New York flights arrive at LaGuardia Airport (LGA) in a little over five hours. Be sure to check the weather report so you know what clothes to pack. While the weather during the summer months is way warmer than San Francisco, September through early May can range from chilly to downright cold. LGA serves as a hub for Delta Air Lines and as a focus city for American Eagle. Taxi cabs are very common here, and finding your way west to Manhattan will be no problem. MTA buses will link you to the New York City Subway and Long Island Rail Road through routes including the M60 and Q48, with stops at every terminal.
