The airport offers two options for long-term parking: covered general parking and MSP Value Parking. The general parking garage, which costs $22 per day, has four ramps reserved for long-term parking. The garage is connected to Terminal 1 via skyway and underground tram. The MSP Value Parking is cheaper, with rates of $16 per day. It's connected to Terminal 2 via enclosed walkways on Level 2 and to Terminal 1 via the Light Rail Transit System. There is no charge for passengers using the light rail to navigate between the terminals and the parking garage.

Transportation to the Airport

You can take the public bus or the light rail from downtown Minneapolis to the airport for $1.75 or $2.25 during rush hours-Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. and from 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. City bus route 54 goes to the airport and stops in front of Terminal 1. Taxicabs transport passengers from downtown to Terminal 1's Tram Level and the Ground Transport Center at Terminal 2. Cab fare from downtown Minneapolis to the airport costs between $38 and $49.

Airport Dining Options
