The airport has nine passenger terminals which are easily accessible, even with the incredible traffic and thousands of people. There are many different options available for getting to the airport, which is located about 16 miles west from Downtown LA. Transportation to the airport comes in the form of Fly Away buses, Metro Green Line buses, and taxis. Prices for each mode of transport vary depending on your location but expect to pay from $4 for public transport to $50 for a taxi. It is best to choose and book transportation well in advance. The very best option in LA would be to get a friend to drive you and pay it back in good faith.
There are several airports located in Las Vegas but the main airport serving this region is the McCarran International Airport (LAS). The airport has three terminals, the third being the most recent addition in 2012. If traveling on Southwest Airlines, McCarran's most frequent service, you'll arrive in Terminal 1. There is no shortage of transportation from the airport once you have arrived on your trip from Los Angeles to Las Vegas. As well as taxis to make the short drive to the Strip, you can choose the group shuttle, inner city shuttles, or travel in a limousine or town car. The cheapest option is the group shuttle which costs $8.50 to Downtown Las Vegas hotels.
