Mexico Weather
Weather in Mexico is generally warm and hot at sea-level locations, with the high ground locations experiencing colder temperatures during winter, especially from November to January. The best time to head down to the beaches of Mexico is between October and May, but bear in mind that the city's hurricane season runs from June to November. If you are budget-conscious, the low season starts right after Easter to mid-December. You will be able to enjoy slashed prices for hotel accommodation as well as good Mexico flight deals with discounts up to 50%. The crowds are at a minimum in the month of November, and you will still be able to bask in the greenery from the recently ended rainy spell. Festivities in this month include the Mexican Wine and Food Fair and the Day of the Dead, a festival remembering the lives of relatives passed away.
Getting Around Mexico
Mexico is quite a large country, so travelling between cities via Mexico flights can work in your favor. Be sure to book your flights to Mexico early via local airlines such as Aeromar, Aeromexico, and Volares. The local express buses, known as Directo, are another favored option. Choose the first class buses which provide you comfortable seating, toilets, and a selection of movies. Train services are generally limited in Mexico, with only a handful of operative lines available. Hitchhiking is flat-out not recommended. A rental car at your arrival airport is always a good choice to save time.
