Dreams of heading south-of-the-border to sunny Mexico and tropical seaside resorts don’t have to end in a cramped hotel room or all-inclusive resort. I’m a frequent visitor to Playa del Carmen and really enjoy the options offered by condo-hotel resorts, like Aldea Thai and Pueblito Escondido. A living room, kitchen and multiple bedrooms make it perfect for family or group vacations. Yet, I book the suite just like a normal hotel room. It’s so simple. In addition to all the room, I get to enjoy traditional resort amenities, including restaurants and pools with swim-up bars. (more…)
