Top dogs: Get your hand-dipped, golden-brown corn dogs at several stands around Disneyland.

By Amanda Ficili

Snacking your way around the Disneyland Resort is an attraction all its own, and with so many deliciously tasty opportunities, it’s easy to see why. Sure, the spot is home to a multitude of fabulous restaurants and eateries, but sometimes you just need a little pick me up in between, especially after a few hours of adventurous park hopping at the Disneyland Resort. The post-Disneyland fun continues from the rooftop pool at Carousel Inn -- literally across the maingate.

By Valerie Moloney

Whether in a crowded restaurant waiting area or standing in line at the Teacups, we’ve all been witness to a child about to have a meltdown. Cue shrills of frustration in all octaves, and ones you never knew existed.Cue kicking and screaming, and my personal favorite: the throwing of objects, from sippy cups to Dad’s new sunglasses.

The child needs a nap – pronto.

Heading to Disneyland? Book now and receive a free $150 Disney gift card when you stay at Disneyland hotels for four or more nights.

Stay at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel, or Disneyland Hotel by April 20 to receive this special offer. Add to the savings by purchasing a 3-day Resort Park Hopper Ticket and get two days free. That’s five days for the price of three!

Why I love this deal: Staying on park makes your visit much smoother, and the free gift card is a great perk. It’s good for merchandise, restaurants, etc. within the park, so use it for shopping or to pay for meals. Four nights is also an ideal length of time to visit Disneyland. While it’s smaller than Disney World ,it packs a punch in its small footprint. It also works well with the 5-day ticket offer, so you can visit the park both the day you arrive and the day you leave.

These offers are good through April 20, 2008. Book your Disneyland vacation fast; availability is limited.
