I’m a fan of deceptively cheap Hawaii vacations, you know, the kind that still feel luxurious and breathtaking, all without breaking the bank. And that’s why I’m planning to visit the Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa in Honolulu, where I can get my 4th night free and daily breakfast for 2 when I book before June 20, 2010.

Located on the south shore of the island of Oahu, Waikiki was the former destination of Hawaiian royalty. It’s not far from some of the biggest waves for surfing in the world, and it’s one of the most popular beach destinations. The Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa sits right on the Pacific Ocean and is also within walking distance of excellent dining and shopping. During your stay, you’ll not only get to enjoy all the beauty of a Hawaiian beach vacation, you can also participate in the resort’s classes and concerts featuring Hawaii’s history and culture, or luxuriate at its Spa Olakino Salon. What does my cruise fare include?
In most cases, your cruise fare will include your room, meals in the buffet restaurants and main dining room, most entertainment, and 24-hour room service. It does not include discretionary items such as specialty restaurants, organized shore excursions, alcoholic beverages, gratuities, spa treatments, medical services, casino expenditures, or other miscellaneous items.

What type of clothes should I pack for my cruise?
Consider your cruise itinerary when deciding what to pack. For tropical cruises, you’ll want to take shorts, skirts or sundresses, pants, t-shirts, knit tops, one formal outfit and a bathing suit.  For cooler days or Alaska cruises pack warmer clothes such as sweaters, raincoats, and fleece. It is also a good idea to bring a pair of sneakers or rubber-soled shoes for deck sports.
