In a sure sign that winter is coming, The Pond at Bryant Park opens today.
The popular New York ice skating rink offers free admission. The Pond has a restaurant and snack shop. Skate and locker rentals are available for a fee.
The Pond is open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 8 a.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday, weather permitting.
The holiday shops at Bryant Park will open November 22.
