Ski for free at Vail and Beaver Creek

Two Colorado ski resorts have an offer that gives skiers yet another great reason to hit the slopes.

Here’s the deal: If you book a non-stop flight to Vail/Eagle County Regional Airport, you can ski for free at Vail or Beaver Creek on the day you arrive. You must be staying at a Vail Valley hotel or resort to take advantage of the offer. Just take your hotel confirmation, airline boarding pass and a valid photo ID to the lift ticket window.

Non-stop flights to Vail are available from several major cities including Atlanta, Dallas/Fort Worth, Denver, Chicago and Cincinnati.

The offer is good through April 13, 2008, and is valid for one free lift ticket per person, with some restrictions. Here’s more info.

United has cheap flights for Presidents Day

As if you needed a compelling reason to get away for
Presidents Day weekend, United Airlines has it — a holiday fare sale with
cheap flights throughout the United States.

Whether you’re thinking of a last-minute trip to Disneyland
or a relaxing weekend at a hip Miami hotel, United Airlines’ Presidents Day Weekend Sale features cheap fares to southern California, south Florida and a bunch of other
top destinations across the country.

The sale ends soon, so make sure you book by February 15,
2008. Travel has to be completed by February 21. (Presidents Day, incidentally,
is Monday, February 18).

Some sample fares include Chicago to West
Palm Beach for $271, Miami to Orange County
for $293, Philadelphia to Key
